DB arrested Quota reform leader Rashed, RU students assaulted by BCL
The Detective Branch (DB) of Police on Sunday arrested Rashed Khan, joint convener of Bangladesh General Students’ Rights Protection Forum, from Bhasantek area in the city, UNB reports.
Rashed was shown arrested in a case filed under the Information Communication Technology (ICT) act, said Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.

Earlier on Saturday, at least six leaders of the platform that led the quota reform movement were injured in an attack allegedly by some BCL activists on Dhaka University campus.
Protesting the attack, the students’ council called for an indefinite boycott of classes and examinations in all universities and colleges across the country from Sunday.
