PM opens 10 residential buildings for govt employees
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated 10 multi-storey buildings in Dhaka’s Motijheel and Azimpur government colonies as part of her government’s plan to raise housing facilities for public servants on Saturday (today).
The buildings have been inaugurated as part of the incumbent government’s plan to raise the housing facilities of the public servants.
At different functions at Motijheel and Azimpur government colonies in Dhaka today, the prime minister inaugurated four 20-storey buildings with 532 flats at Motijheel and six 20-storey buildings with 456 flats at Azimpur.
While speaking at the function held at Motijheel Government Colony, she asked the residents to maintain cleanness of the buildings, stairs, lifts and surroundings, urging everyone to practise cleanliness in every step of life.
“Similar buildings would be constructed at district and upazila level across the country so that government employees can live in a better condition,” she said.
