Getting car by buying Walton Fridge, unbelievable: Aradhon

Under the ongoing nationwide ‘Walton Eid Mega Digital Campaign,’ a member of the Bangladesh Police Aradhon Chandra Saha got a brand new 800cc car for purchasing a Walton brand 8 cft fridge.

Getting a new car just on the fourth-day of the Walton campaign brought enormous happy in the family of Aradhon Chandra, who are now performing duty with the security unit of the National Parliament House.

On July 1, 2018, the country’s electronics giant Walton started the mega campaign on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha or Qurbani Eid, one of the biggest religious festivals of Muslim community.

Under the campaign, buyers are offered brand new car, fridge, television, air-conditioner or sure cash back on the registration of their each purchased fridge, television or air-conditioner from any Walton Plazas or distributors outlets till the period of upcoming Qurbani Eid.

With the aim of purchasing a high quality fridge at reasonable price, Police Constable Aradhon, along with his colleague and friend Ajith Sutradhor, were thronged several outlets of domestic and international electronics brands in the capital’s Mirpur area.

During their visit, Aradhon and Ajith went to Interactive Electronics, an exclusive distributor outlet of Walton at the market of Mirpur National Bangla High School in the capital on July 4, 2018. Here, they bought an 8 cft Walton fridge at Tk 18,200.

Just after purchasing the fridge, outlet Manager Md. Asaduzzaman informed that they could get a brand new car, fridge, television, air-conditioner or sure cash-back by registering his purchased fridge through sending SMS from his mobile phone.

Getting the offer’s information, Aradhon registered his Walton fridge and then got a return SMS from Walton. While reading out the return SMS, he came to know that he got a brand new 800 cc car.

While expressing his reaction, Aradhon said, ““After reading out the message, I was fully astonished. It was hard to believe that I got a brand new car for purchasing a Tk 18,200 worth refrigerator. It’s a very amazing.”

Amdadul Haque Sarker, executive director and head of marketing of Walton Group, handed over the car’s key to Aradhon Chandra Saha at the ground of Mirpur Bangla High School’s Market in the capital.

The function was attended, among others, by Walton Executive Director Md Humayun Kabir, Deputy Executive Director Uday Hakim and Ariful Ambia, Office In-charge of Mirpur Model Thana Nazrul Islam and other senior officials of the company.
