Hallmark chairman Jesmin gets 3-year imprisonment
A Dhaka court on Wednesday (July 11) sentenced Jesmin Islam, disgraced chairman of Hallmark Group, to three years imprisonment and fined Taka 20 lakh for not submitting wealth statement to Anti-Corruption
Judge Dr. Md. Akhteruzzaman of Dhaka Special Judge’s court-5 passed the order in presence of Jesmin, who was produced before the court by the police.
The court ordered the state to realize the money within sixty days.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the case against Jasmine for not submitting wealth statements.
