Bangabandhu killer Rashid’s son-in-law arrested

Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) arrested Fuad Zaman, son-in-law of Bangabandhu killer Sultan Shahriar Rashid in a case filed under the ICT act for posting a provocative post on Facebook.

Cyber Security and Crime Prevention Department of CCTC arrested him from Hatirjheel area in the capital on Wednesday night (September 12).

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter on Thursday (September 13).

In a Facebook post on August 15, Fuad made provocative remarks on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and praised the killers of him.

The case has been filed with Dhanmondi Police Station in this connection under the ICT Act recently.
