Oikyafront to join polls
Dr Kamal Hossain-led Jatiya Oikyafront has decided to participate in the election as part of the movement for the restoration of the country's democracy.
The opposition political alliance also demanded a new announcement of election schedule after deferring the current schedule for one month.

Gano Forum president also the leader of Jatiya Oikyafront Dr Kamal Hossain made the announcement at a press conference in city’s National Press Club on Sunday (November 11).
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Krishak Sramik Janata League President Bangabir Kader Siddiqui and Nagorik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna were present among others at the conference.
