Many students attacked & injured during 'Road Safety' Protest
Many students again came under attack and injured in the capital's Jigatola area this afternoon, soon after police fired several rounds of teargas shell on them.
According to our reporters and locals, over 100 students from different universities and colleges received injuries during the attack by unidentified criminals equipped with bamboo sticks and sharp weapons.

Students alleged that the attackers are the members of Chhatra League and Jubo League. However, police denied the allegation and could not release the identities of the criminals.
The injured have been admitted to Popular Diagnostic Centre with injuries. Of them, four students sustained severe injuries.
A group of college students earlier came under an attack in Dhanmondi-1 area this afternoon, the 8th consecutive day of the students' demonstration demanding safe roads.
