Quota system abolished in 1st & 2nd class govt job

Cabinet approves recommendation for abolishing the quota system for 1st and 2nd class (9th and 13th grades) jobs in government jobs.

The decision was made in a regular cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Wednesday (October 3).

After the cabinet meeting, cabinet secretary Shafiul Alam said quota system will be scrapped for first and second class government jobs.
