Liton, Nur sued over assaulting Rokeya Hall provost

A case was filed for allegedly assaulting Rokeya Hall provost during the DUCSU polls on Monday.

A female student from Rokeya hall filed the case last night with Shahbag Police station.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Shahbag Police station Abul Hasan confirmed the matter.

Left leaning students alliance panel vice-president (VP) aspirant Liton Nandi and Quota Reformists’ VP elect Nurul Haque Nur, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) general secretary (GS) aspirant Anisur Rahman Khondakar, Chhatra Federation GS candidate Umme Habiba Benjir, independent candidate for VP post in Rokeya hall Sheikh Mousumi and Swatantra Jote aspirant for struggle for independence and liberation war affair secretary in central union Shrobona Shafiq Dipti and 30-40 others unnamed were named in the case, the OC said.
