Obaidul Quader transfarred to cabin
Ailing Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has been transfarred to a cabin from the ICU as his health condition improved.
Quader is undergoing treatment at Singapore Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

Dr Sivathasan Cumaraswamy, cardiothoracic surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospital apprised of the last update about the physical improvement of Quader to his family members this morning.
“He (Quader) has been moved from the ICU to a cabin of the hospital this morning as his health condition improved further… liquid food is being served to him,” said Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Director Dr Abu Naser Rizvi, who is staying beside the ailing politician.
Earlier on March 3, Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) as he felt severe chest pain. Quader had three arterial blocks, one of which was removed by stenting on the day.
Qader flew to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore with an air ambulance next day, after India’s renowned Cardiac Surgeon Dr Devi Shetty's consent as he was stable enough to travel.
