6 election personnel shot dead in Rangamati
A gang of unidentified criminals shot six people, including two polling officers and four Ansar-VDP members, to death and injured many others in Bagaichhari upazila of Rangamati here this evening.
According to BSS report, The polling offices and members of the law enforcement agencies came under attack in Noykilo area of Bagaichhari upazila when they were returning to the upazila headquarters after conducting vote of upazila parishads elections at a remote polling centre, Police Super of Rangamati Alamgir Kabir said.

Kabir said many people sustained injuries in the attack and they were being taken to nearby hospitals, he said while talking BSS around 8:30 pm.
He immediately could not mention the names of deceased and injured persons saying the deceased include two polling officers and four ansar-VDP members.
