BGB deployed across country

A total of 1,016 platoons of paramilitary Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed across the country ahead of the 11th general election.

Border Guard Bangladesh's public relations officer Muhammad Mohsin Reza confirmed the matter on Tuesday.

The BGB personnel will work in coordination with the returning officers at the district level to ensure law and order, Mohsin Reza said.
